We received three warning letters concerning software piracy. Two were from Kapolri, and the other from BSA.
Some of our customers were caught using pirated software (Micro$oft's softwares, no doubt). And one company
beside our building bought the original ones.
So...what did we do? We converted to Linux! It was pain in the a**, as in some early days, the client users kept
complaining about how hard Linux usage is. (They have been spoiled with Window$ since the day they were born)
But now, after five months of struggle, they are as quiet as little babies :) They are used to Linux now, and, I think
they can even see how friendly and powerful Linux is.
We use Ubuntu Linux 7.04 (currently) for the clients, and OpenSuSE 10.2 for the servers. As for myself, I use
the all-wonderful Foresight Linux 1.3.2.
The applause goes to my two mates, Upang and Miskam. They pressed their brains to learn Linux (they were also
faithful Window$ users). And now they're talking like experts whenever some users cry for help.
