Catalysator

Catalyst (former: iDesign) is originally a Rapid Database Application Development Tool (RDAD Tool), and not an ERP. Therefore it doesn't have any business process yet. But I'm currently making an ERP system out with this program, so I will publish business process diagram later. Thank you James for your insight!

Along with Catalyst, I'm also developing its variant, CatalystWeb, which will be an RDAD Tool that runs on internet through web browsers. Aside with those, I'm also planning of making an additional tool, CatalystForm, an RDAD Tool that will produce forms for mobile devices that connect to Catalyst/CatalystWeb.

One software house company is waiting for this program to complete. Well, it's fully functional now, but I still have more features to add.

Apple of My Eye

Привет, Ето Я!

I remembered an old song sang by Jordy, the French bebe, which titled "Dur dur, d'etre bebe", or "It's tough to be a baby". Now I tell you, "Dur dur, d'etre pere"! "It's tough to be a father!" :D

Here's Vanessa 5 days old! The day I write this, she is 13 days old. What's her news? Well, her umbilical cord has fallen off on day 8! Tell you what, babies I know have their umbilical cord fallen on 15 days or more!

She's able to focus her eyes on something now, phew. And she's able to lift her head while she's lying down on her tummy.

Few days ago, we took her to be vaccinated, and she got her first Hepatitis-B vaccine. The nurse injected her, then...she surprised and screamed, hahaha, what a surprising moments, but she only cried for about 1 minute, then she returned to normal :)

I know that there's something special about her.

...Special Present...

September 17, 2007...
... She finally arrived to this world: small, cute, pretty, a little red baby
of mine...

After 9 months of waiting, my wife and I received our most beautiful gift,
Ванесса Светлана Мартиновна, or Vanessa Svetlana Martinovna, our
first daughter.

My wife wasn't in easy way to deliver her, she had to
experience the pain like normal delivery but she was too weak, so the
doctors did Caesar surgery on her.

But it's all over now, and...It's kinda fun to hold my own baby (trust me,
I never held a baby in my entire life!)

I forgot to take a picture of her, so I put that butterfly picture here. What is the connection, you say? Well, Vanessa means Butterfly, and Svetlana means Bright. So her name would be A Bright Butterfly, a pretty name, don't you think?

Now I'm at the office, and I really miss them, my wife and my daughter. Oh, by the way, they're in Bandung. I will visit them this afternoon.

All Linux...

We received three warning letters concerning software piracy. Two were from Kapolri, and the other from BSA.
Some of our customers were caught using pirated software (Micro$oft's softwares, no doubt). And one company
beside our building bought the original ones.

So...what did we do? We converted to Linux! It was pain in the a**, as in some early days, the client users kept
complaining about how hard Linux usage is. (They have been spoiled with Window$ since the day they were born)
But now, after five months of struggle, they are as quiet as little babies :) They are used to Linux now, and, I think
they can even see how friendly and powerful Linux is.

We use Ubuntu Linux 7.04 (currently) for the clients, and OpenSuSE 10.2 for the servers. As for myself, I use
the all-wonderful Foresight Linux 1.3.2.

The applause goes to my two mates, Upang and Miskam. They pressed their brains to learn Linux (they were also
faithful Window$ users). And now they're talking like experts whenever some users cry for help.

Hello, It's Me!

Здравствуй, ето я! (Hello, it's me)

Well...I didn't put enough interest in Blogspot, until I thought that I need a space to fill my brain out. And beside, I don't have special budget to subscribe to a hosting company (read: I'm too damn poor, hehe... :)) So...Blogspot, I give you a chance to proof that we can live along well.

Ok, I guess this is it for now. Just set up my blog, but I have to go home.
See you around!

Пока пока! (Bye bye!)
